Nicole Leconte is the founder of Moonlight Books, a part-time practice born from her deep love of books as both literary and physical objects. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Trinity University, where she first learned to bookbind, and a Master’s in Information Studies with a specialization in Curation and Preservation from the University of Texas at Austin. Nicole also works full time at an art museum in San Antonio, where she helps care for and educate about works of art and historical materials. Through both roles, she is driven by a shared mission: to honor the stories that cultural objects (like books!) carry and ensure they are preserved for future generations.
