Laurie Roath Frazier is a writer, naturalist, and science educator. She spends her days writing and wandering outside in the company of bugs, birds, and plants. A passionate wildlife and habitat gardener, she keeps her shovel, journal, camera, and binoculars close by at all times. Her latest obsession is observing living things that find home under rocks and in holes, cracks, and crevices. Always seeking ways to reconnect people with the natural world, she writes about the ecology of special places, near and far.
